Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about CineDraft
Is AI required to use CineDraft?
No, AI is completely optional. CineDraft is first and foremost a professional screenwriting tool with industry-standard formatting. You can use all the core writing features without ever touching AI. The AI assistant is there when you need it, but it never gets in the way of your creative process.
What file formats does CineDraft support?
CineDraft exports to industry-standard formats including PDF (with professional formatting), Fountain (.fountain), and other common screenplay formats. All paid plans include watermark-free exports.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes! All paid plans come with a 3-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime during the trial period with no questions asked.
Is my work safe and private?
Absolutely. Your scripts are encrypted and stored securely. We never share your work with third parties, and you maintain full ownership of everything you create in CineDraft.
Can I collaborate with other writers?
Real-time collaboration features are coming soon! This will include simultaneous editing, commenting, and task management for teams.
How do AI tokens work?
AI tokens represent the amount of AI processing you can use each month. Both input (what you send to the AI) and output (what the AI generates) count toward your token limit. Different plans offer different monthly token allocations.
Can I purchase additional AI credits?
Yes! All users, including those on the Free plan, can purchase AI credit packs to extend their AI usage beyond their plan limits. Credits never expire and can be used anytime.
What happens when my trial ends?
When your 3-day trial ends, you'll be charged for your selected plan. You can cancel anytime during the trial to avoid charges. If you cancel after the trial, you'll retain access until the end of your billing period.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle.
