Cinemate AI is entirely optional. Cinedraft AI functions as a complete, professional screenwriting tool without any AI involvement. The AI assistant turns on only when you explicitly invoke it — it never interrupts your writing process uninvited.
Your Writing Is Private
Your scripts are accessible only to you and the collaborators you explicitly approve. Cinedraft AI operates as a closed system within your workspace. No third party, including Cinemate, can read your scripts without your invitation.
No Training on Your Content
Cinedraft AI does not use your screenplay content to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. Your writing is not retained beyond your project, and it is not redistributed in any form.

Cinedraft AI is designed around a clear hierarchy: people first, craft first, process first. AI assistance is secondary — a tool that responds to the writer, not the other way around. The software will never push AI suggestions at you or prioritise AI-generated content over your own work.
Transparent Boundaries
When you use Cinemate AI, you are choosing to send specific content to an AI model for a specific purpose — character development, dialogue, scene description. That context is sent to the model and cleared after the response. There is no passive data collection during writing.
Writer-Controlled Context
You decide how much of your script Cinemate AI can access in any given session. On Pro, context is limited to the active scene. On Premium, you can provide broader script context. Either way, the scope is always in your control.
